Employees, regardless of their day to day tasks and scope of activities, are exposed to ergonomic risks, such as manual lift, carrying, pushing, pulling, maintaining uncomfortable postures for a certain period, over-exertion, repetitive motions. These activities, postures and motions may result in employees experiencing musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs). MSDs can be quite painful disorder and illnesses, experienced at hands, arms, neck, shoulder and back. Unnoticeably, these disorders can lead to decreased productivity. In worst-case scenarios, it may result in permanent disability.
